Gartner Lists Manthan for Algorithmic Merchandise Optimization in the Hype Cycle for Retail Technologies, 2018

Manthan, a leader in AI-powered analytics solutions, today announced their mention as a Sample Vendor in Gartner’s Hype Cycle for Retail Technologies, 2018 under Algorithmic Merchandise Optimization.

In a fast-paced digital retail environment, retailers can no longer rely on traditional analytics methods and gut feel to make merchandising decisions. The sheer volume of enterprise and third-party data (weather, social data), changing customer preferences, seamless movement of shoppers across channels has increased the complexity of merchandising manifold and necessitates a different approach.

Manthan’s analytics solutions use AI and machine learning to simplify merchandising by enabling the system to auto-generate insights, automatically identify anomalies, recommend the best action and execute it.

“With granular SKU level insights and machine-driven recommendations on the optimal merchandise mix, optimal pricing for products, right promotions, merchandisers will easily be able to capitalize on opportunities and drive better customer experience in a complex, fluid digital retail environment,” said Sameer Narula, Chief Product Officer, Manthan.

Manthan will be showcasing its AI and prescriptive analytics solutions at booth #4719 of the National Retail Federation (NRF) Conference & Expo, January 13-15, 2019 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, NYC.
