There’s a reason we call ourselves Manthan. No, it’s not the promoter’s name. Or, an acronym for multiple promoters’ names. Not a descriptor of any kind either. Manthan, is our philosophy.

In Indian mythology, ‘manthan’ is a metaphor for the eternal quest for excellence. It derives from a mythical tale where the gods and the demons churn the oceans seeking nectar. While the nectar symbolizes excellence, what precedes it, is equally important. And that’s the quest, the churning - ‘manthan’.

Evolution, demands constant churn. Without the churn, nothing new can emerge. There would be no change. No progress. No step forward.

To arrive at new levels of excellence, we need to create, preserve, destroy. We need to learn, unlearn, re-learn. And from this churn, the new emerges.

This is the reason we call ourselves Manthan. Our quest is to derive what will be. And the only way to do that, is to constantly question what is.
