Manthan Systems, a leading provider of retail Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics solutions, will unveil its revolutionary new product 3rdi at the Retail Big Show, NRF’s 101st Annual Convention & Expo, to be held from January 15 – 18, 2012 at New York. With the 3rdi, Manthan makes a first-of-its-kind move to take retail BI applications beyond information, through solution evaluation and implementation.
Peter Charness President of Manthan America’s notes that “Traditional BI models fall short of retailer requirements when it comes to dealing with the opportunities and issues that can be uncovered through information exploration. While information is power, executing an optimal solution turns opportunity into profit.”
For instance, a traditional BI solution can alert the buyer in a retail enterprise that a particular product is selling slowly or is overstocked. Other than providing him with this information, there is little implementation help from traditional BI solutions.
With Manthan’s 3rdi a business user will not only be notified of the slow seller, but will also be provided through a guided workflow with the ability to explore various price changes, simulate and select the best price strategy and send the changes for approval, and automated implementation.
“With 3rdi,” says Charness “retailers can now assess a situation, identify opportunities, simulate alternative courses of action, make an advised choice, get approvals and most importantly implement the optimal solution through to the execution systems. We are confident that the 3rdi will redefine the retail analytics space.”
Manthan’s deep passion for retail analytics and its innovative spirit have led to the latest offering, the 3rdi, which envisages the shift of retail BI from information to implementation and analytics-driven action.
