| Former JDA software executive Joins Manthan Systems as President, US |
| 02 December 2009, Chicago, IL Manthan Systems today announced the appointment of Peter J. Charness to the position of President US. In this role, Charness will be responsible for Manthan’s North American Operations, as well as a member of the Manthan Executive Management Team. He will provide strategic input to the overall success of Manthan’s product footprint and rapidly growing business in North America. Charness comes to Manthan with a strong history of success both as a Retailer and a Software executive. Most recently Charness as CEO led the successful launch of a software company bringing innovative Merchandise and Assortment Planning to the Retail/CPG market. Previously, Charness held the position of Senior Vice President Marketing and Chief Product Officer of JDA Software (NASDAQ: JDAS). Charness has worked with many of the largest and most successful Retailers worldwide.
